Tour Highlights:

Leaving Edinburgh, we'll stop to take in views of the famous Forth Bridge, before you cross the Firth of Forth itself, taking a wonderful drive down the coastline, heading towards the picturesque fishing village of Anstruther. Here, you'll stop for refreshments and a stroll around the harbour of this popular artists' hideaway on the Fife coast.

Heading towards St. Andrews, you can meet a herd of famous Hairy 'Highland' Coos, before you discover a 1,200 year-old, pagan-worship site called Dunino Den, in the Fife woodland. Your guide will enthusiastically explain the history of this rather secret and mysterious place.

You'll then arrive at the lovely, historic, university town of St. Andrews for around midday. You'll be given a map so you can find your way around this beautiful little town, and let loose to spend your time here as you please.

You'll have approximately 2 and a half hours to explore, have lunch, walk the beautiful beach, across the famous 'Old Course', or enjoy a wee round of golf (well, putting, at the famous and challenging 'Himalayas' putting green!).

For lunch, we suggest trying the famous 'Tailend Fish Bar' in the heart of St. Andrews. Fish and Chips here are outstanding, but of course there are many other wonderful places to lunch if you are not a fan of seafood.

If history is your thing, visit the ruins of St. Andrews Cathedral, St. Andrews Castle, or Scotland's oldest University.

If you are a keen golfer, a visit to the British Golf Museum is a must. You'll have more than enough time to browse the boutique shops, or sample the cafes and bars of this famous little town, where Prince William and Kate Middleton (now Duchess of Cambridge!) met, whilst studying here.

You'll then visit the famous Tullibardine Whisky Distillery in the village of Blackford, for a short distillery tour, and a wee dram of Scotch whisky ('uisge beatha' - the water of life!).

We'll then head back towards Edinburgh, via a beautiful drive through Glen Dwvon, stopping at Loch Leven, getting an unrivalled view of the castle in which Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned, before you arrive back in Edinburgh at approximately 6.30pm.
